It’s no secret that I absolutely adore London weddings, and that love extends just as much to elopements and intimate ceremonies. There’s something truly special about couples who follow their hearts and opt for a smaller celebration—because at the end of the day, the love, the meaning, and the emotions remain just as important.
Elle and Phil did just that, choosing a beautifully intimate wedding in the heart of London. Their day was filled with joy, love, and a touch of old-school glamour, and I was so honored to capture every moment.
The day began in Finsbury Park, where Elle was getting ready with the expert hands of Chloe Eleanor on makeup and Kellie Copperwheat on hair. The atmosphere was full of excitement and happy anticipation. Meanwhile, Phil, looking effortlessly suave in a classic black tie ensemble, enjoyed a quiet moment at the bar with a pre-game drink. As the final touches came together, Elle slipped into her breathtaking Sophie Et Voila dress—puffed sleeves, a chic silhouette, and just the right length to show off her statement Louboutin heels.
From the hotel we hailed a classic white cab and made our way to Islington Town Hall, where their closest family and friends were waiting. And let me tell you—whoever said smaller weddings mean fewer tears was absolutely wrong. The ceremony was beautifully heartfelt, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Elle and Phil exchanged their vows. After the “I dos,” we stepped out onto the iconic steps of the town hall for the all-important confetti toss—one of my favorite moments to capture. From there, we made a quick stop at the pub for a celebratory drink before hitting the streets of London for some stunning couple portraits. There’s just something about London’s backdrop that adds an extra layer of magic to wedding photography, and Elle and Phil made it look effortless.
Their wedding day was proof that love, not guest count, is what truly makes a celebration special. It was an absolute joy to document their story, and I can’t wait to share more from this incredible day!
