Harry & Vik
IVY LODGE
It is always so lovely when you get a siblings wedding. I shot Harry’s big sister’s wedding years ago, so it was lovely to know I would see lots of familiar faces and the lovely family once more.
Myself and the fabulous Joce (on video) from Lune De Miel Studio’s arrived at the gorgeous Landmark Hotel for bride and groom prep. Getting ready separately Vik had her glam squad Kasia Perdion on hair, whilst Klaudia Wnuk worked her magic on make up. Vik’s dress was simply stunning, fitting to perfection and complimenting her figure so well, there was nothing to dislike about her Avenue 22 dress.
Meanwhile Harry was across the hall with his groomsmen and Dad, sharpening himself up in a Suit Supply number and sipping champagne, after which we headed out to get some nice shots of the boys at the front of the iconic hotel.
After heading to The Duke of York pub for a swift pint we walked round the corner to the sunning Fitzrovia Chapel, one word, WOW. When Vik arrived with her stunning blooms by Fika Florals it was a sight for sore eyes. The perfect most stunning setting for your nuptials, oh and drinks after. After exiting to a ribbon arch Vik & Harry treated the guests to a Vintage Red Bus trip round some London sites before arriving at The Italian Greyhound.
Here they enjoyed many a course (you know how the Italians love a feast), lovely drinks, speeches and of course as the bride is Polish, plenty of vodka. The guests were dancing between courses and Dj Wizz ensured every single person was on the dance floor. An epic day from start to finish.
Personal Highlight:
As always it is so hard to choose. I think it has to be when we went out for some couple shots and the sky went black. The heavens opened and we decided to park in front of a little cafe and order Aperol Spritz’s, it turned out to be some of my fave shots of the day!
