LOUISE & SCOTT

MILLING BARN

Well where do I start with Louise and Scott’s beautiful, colourful sunshiny day at Milling Barn.

I found the girls getting glam up’d in the bridal prep room, Lois was working her magic on the hair, whilst Hayley was ensuring the make-up was perfection. I did a little streak when I saw Louise’s dress, hello little shorty, it had been altered by Caroline and was so perfect to show off all the brides amazing ink. Whilst we are on the dress, it’s worth me mentioning it had the most incredible big bow on the back, as if I wasn’t bow obsessed enough already.

The ceremony was in the barn, with all their friends and family witnessing the nuptials whilst they exchanged rings against gorgeous, vibrant flower pillars by Rose and Carter. That was another little shriek moment when I saw all the flowers, the colours were the palette of dreams.

After the happy newly married couple were drenched in confetti, we did a few group shots, with all the bridal crew having non matching outfits (an absolute fave look of mine), the groups were even filled with colour and personality. We then headed off for a bit of couple time, using some of the cute spots around Milling Barn.

We headed into the gorgeous decked out barn, more flowers, lovely stationary, the pillars framed a wicked hanging piece reading “The perfect match’ and obviously a fabulous vintage pink cake by Outrageous Cakes. Guests enjoyed a carvery style dinner with the head of each table donning an apron and chefs hat and carving up a feast for peeps on their table.

We managed some sunset shots with a little helper (the couples lovely nephew) and a bit of fun on the big tree swing. After cocktail hour we headed back in cake cutting and dancing, with Elements DJ proving entertainment so all could dance the night away.

Personal Highlight:

I know I keep going on about it, but it has to be the bowed dress, such a statement and if anyone was going to rock it, Louise was.

“We’re usually so awkward in front of the camera but you made us feel so completely at ease. Thank you for making us feel so comfortable, for taking our nephew under your wing and being his hype woman. All we can say is a massive thank you.”
