It’s no secret I absolutely love shooting weddings at The Tythe Barn. Every corner of this venue is gorgeous, and every time I shoot there, I just know I’m going to have the best day. Ellie and Ben’s wedding was no exception! From the moment I met Ellie, I knew she was one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, let alone the coolest bride. Her sincere and sweet nature made her shine throughout the day. And let me say it out loud.. Ellie and Ben are a seriously hot couple! They need to come with a warning! Ellie looked out of this world in her first dress, and Ben’s suit was perfect for the time of year and the vibe of the day. They looked like they stepped out of a magazine! The couple had a stunning outdoor ceremony under the wisteria, thanks to a last-minute change in the weather, the sun shone non-stop for Ellie and Ben. Working with Joanna Carter Flowers for the first time was a delightful, They helped create a gorgeous setting for the group shots, something that I would not do when shooting alone but this showcases the power of teamwork on a wedding day! Ellie’s makeup artist and hairstylist, Krystyna, made sure she looked even more stunning while remaining true to herself. Her signature eye jewels were beautiful, I always appreciate a bride who stays authentic and rocks her own style, and Ellie did just that. As the day turned to evening, Ellie changed into her second dress just before the first dance. I don’t think I have ever seen so many jaws simultaneously drop to the floor—it was a real Sandy-in-Grease moment! The evening continued with everyone on the lawn, soaking up the last rays of the sun, playing garden games, and sipping on espresso martinis, followed with some serious moves on the dance floor!

Personal Highlight:

It has to be when Ben got roped into singing to Ellie in front of everyone—a long-standing tradition with his friends that's meant to be a bit of a joke on their wedding day. What started as a funny moment turned into something really special, with all the guests joining in and singing along.
