Amie & David

The Mitre
Hampton Court

When I got a message from Amie back in May, I could feel the excitement and urgency in her email. She and David were planning to get married in June…this year! “You are the first person I am emailing because I wanted to find out if it would be possible?!” she wrote, eager to check my availability. Their rush? The couple was packing up their lives and moving to the States and wanted to celebrate their love with their closest friends and family before the big move.

When I arrived at The Mitre in Hampton Court, I was blown away by what Amie and David had achieved in just six short weeks. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed, they had pulled off an incredible day, filled with intimate touches and incredible decor, with a colour palette to die for. Their wedding was a testament to what can be achieved with determination, and a bit of creativity. From the floral arrangements by Floral Roots, to the the delicious favors from Ellis-Paige Bakes and cake by Boutique Bakery, every element was thoughtfully chosen. One of the best things about having a small, intimate wedding is the ability to add unique touches and maintain the flow of the day, things that might not be possible with a larger guest list. Amie and David’s wedding was a perfect example of this.

Good luck in the move to Seattle Mr & Mrs Gadsdon!

Personal Highlight

Perhaps the most memorable part of the day was the boat ride along the Thames for their couple shots. Sipping champagne while cruising on a boat provided by Harts Boats & Boards, Amie and David enjoyed a moment together against the backdrop of the river.

“omg they are beautiful!!! Thank you so so much”
