Mhairi & Josh

The Tythe Barn
Bicester

Mairhi and Josh tied the knot at the beautiful Tythe Barn in Bicester and it was a total dream. The wisteria was in full bloom (you know the one—it’s kind of famous), and it made the perfect backdrop for their outdoor ceremony later in the day. The barn was looking gorgeous and those Signature Flowers arrangements really brought it to life, think peachy tones with creams, lilacs, and pops of blue thistle, which was a lovely little nod to Mhairi’s Scottish roots. They had these amazing hanging flowers too which I loved!

Getting ready was super sweet. Their little boy was right there with Mhairi, and at one point he even had a go at doing her makeup (cue the collective “awwws”) but had plenty of help from Lauren Wheeler. And in a lovely twist, her best man was the one who helped her into her dress.

Guests could arrive early and were handed a glass of fizz on the front lawn—solid start to any wedding if you ask me. Everyone was in great spirits, just soaking up the sunshine and the good vibes before the stunning ceremony.

Now, the entertainment! The kids (and tbh a fair few adults) were totally obsessed with Aaron Williams—he was making balloon swords, instruments, animals, pulling off tricks, playing games… he absolutely smashed it. And throughout the day, the super talented Matt, the Cotswold Wedding Guitarist, was playing live music and setting the mood perfectly. Chilled, lovely vibes all round.

Honestly, it was such a fun, relaxed, and personal day, exactly what a wedding should be. Mhairi and Josh, thanks so much for having me along. Can we do it all again?

Personal Highlight:

Who doesn’t love a Prosecco wall?! Might get one fitted in my kitchen!

“Thanks Binky they are absolutely beautiful photos. Thank you for capturing the day so perfectly. This has got me so excited to see the full set! ”
