Jess & George
Buckingham
I recently had the honor of photographing Jess and George’s stunning countryside wedding, held at George’s family farm in the picturesque Buckingham countryside. Pink is definitely the colour of the year, and Jess and George embraced it beautifully with her bridesmaids in mismatching dresses in every hue and the stunning array of florals, brought to life by Wild Bunch Flowers. George made a statement in his kilt, and it was amazing to see how he blended his Scottish heritage into the day. It was a lovely reminder that weddings are not just about two people coming together, but about the blending of families, traditions, and histories! After their ceremony, Jess and George whizzed through the village in their old landy, the scene couldn’t have been more quintessentially British. Being equestrians it was no surprise they didn’t just celebrate with their friends and family—they made sure their four-legged pals were part of the day too! The family dog was loving every bit of attention, and the horses definitely wanted in on the action too. Hosted at the family stud farm a gorgeous marquee by Be Upstanding Marquee housed their celebrations. The dessert tower was definitely a crowd-pleaser, it was loaded with all sorts of sweet treats, almost too pretty to eat (but we managed!). The Cèilidh band was an absolute hit! The second they started playing, people couldn’t resist jumping onto the dance floor, there were guests spinning and laughing everywhere you looked!
Personal Highlight:
I absolutely loved that Jess and George chose to do their speeches outside. Not only was it perfect for soaking up the afternoon sunshine, but as a photographer, I was thrilled to capture those moments in such gorgeous natural light.
