Hannah & Gregory

Wingbury farm

I had told myself, “No more weddings in August!”—none. I was fully booked. But then something special came along: a gorgeous ceremony at Tring Church followed by an incredible party at Wingbury Farm in Funky Monkey yurts. How could I resist? Oh, and the bride, Hannah, happens to share my birthday, down to the year! I took it as a sign that this was one wedding I absolutely HAD to be part of.
The day started with bridal prep, where the atmosphere was full of excitement and nerves. As Hannah slipped into her dress, the emotions in the room were already high, but then her dad walked in…His reaction was unforgettable, he sobbed big-time! It wasn’t long before everyone in the room was wiping their eyes, myself included.
When I arrived at Tring Church, the energy from the guests was amazing. There was so much hugging, chatting, and laughter, with everyone delighted to see Gregory. From that moment my predictions that this was going to be an 10/10 day were cemented. After a sweet ceremony where everyone sang at the top of their lungs, it was time for one of my favorite moments…the confetti and let me tell you, it was no joke! There was so much of it flying through the air that I could barely see the couple as they walked through it, but you know what we always say, more is more!
The festivities continued at Wingbury Farm, where the Funky Monkey yurts were a real showstopper, the set-up was perfect for the afternoon ahead. Guests were greeted with drinks served from the horse box bar and mouth-watering canapés from Nyama Catering, the whole vibe was laid-back which matched Hannah and Gregory’s personalities perfectly. Then came the speeches. What started as heartfelt words of love and congratulations quickly turned into one of the funniest roast sessions I’ve ever witnessed! The laughter was non-stop, guests were in stitches, and I don’t think I’ve ever captured so many genuine, belly-laughing moments at a wedding, even I couldn’t stop laughing!
Once the speeches wrapped up, it was clear everyone was ready to cut loose. The moment the music started, the dance floor was packed, and it stayed that way all night!
Looking back, it’s hard to believe I almost passed on this wedding, and my goodness I’m so pleased I listened to my gut!

Personal Highlight:

One of my favorite moments of the day was when the couple's wine table idea took an unexpected turn. What started as a refined plan with an appointed sommelier quickly turned into a hilarious scene, with guests practically wrestling each other to grab the most bottles, it was total mayhem.

“Wow, wow! We love the photos, thank you so much for capturing our day. You brought so much joy and energy to the day. We can't thank you enough! ”
