Libby & Chris
Hinwick House
Bedfordshire
When I found out that my friend Lizzy from Early Hours, the floral powerhouse was handling the flowers for Libby and Chris’s wedding, I already knew the day would be filled with stunning details. But nothing could have prepared me for just how breathtaking Hinwick House would look. Every room already opulent in its own right was transformed into a lavish feast for the eyes, with florals in the richest shades of burgundy, plum, pinks and deep red.
Libby was an Autumnal vision in her Indie Bride dress, stunning makeup by Louise Jackson and beautiful hair by Nia Sibley, donning more flowers of course. She was pure elegance, and her dress had this timeless feel that perfectly matched the vibe of Hinwick House. Libby’s looked perfectly complimented the boys in their gorgeous Autumnal suits by Marcy Darcy.
After the heartfelt service and exchanging of rings by Jodie Gearing Jewellery everyone headed back to Hinwick for an Italian-inspired dinner by Brothers Supper. It was exactly the comfort food everyone craves at a wedding—big sharing pasta bowls and a personal fave, arancini balls. As the evening continued, Elizabeth and Chris surprised guests with a playful twist: arcade games! From Dance Dance Revolution to air hockey, shuffleboard, and even a bouncy castle, everyone—kids and adults alike—joined in the fun.
Personal Highlight:
The Couple, I am not sure if I can really say that but they were a sheer delight to spend time with, let alone capture their day. On arrival Libby hugged me, said she was so excited to meet me and asked if I had had breakfast? Both of them just constantly checked on everyone all day, their warmth and kindness was so felt by everyone lucky enough to be at their wedding.
