I’ve been itching to shoot a wedding at Loft Studios in London for years, and Sarah and Andy’s special day was the perfect introduction to this unique venue. Loft Studios has such a cool, non-try-hard vibe, making it a truly "out-of-the-box" venue where couples can put their personal stamp on everything and this couple did exactly that! Georgie Rose Events nailed it with the planning, making sure everything was spot on. The moment I walked in, I was blown away by the flowers from Sassi Flowers—think pinks, lilacs, and yellows everywhere. The tables were decked out with colorful candles, stationary and glassware to match, turning the whole space into a sea of colour! And those mini bamboo steamers for the favors were the cutest little touch.
The ceremony itself was incredibly personal and full of emotion, as one of Sarah and Andy’s close friends had the honor of officiating, it’s always so special when a friend conducts the ceremony. Throughout the day, there were confetti cannons going off left and right, we couldn’t get enough of the stuff but I definitely don’t envy the person who had to sweep it all up later! One of the highlights for the guests was the live illustrator, While Hugo Sleeps, There’s something really unique about getting your portrait sketched, it’s always a hit, and this time was no different. In a lovely twist, some of the speeches were held outside in the courtyard. I absolutely love it when couples opt for outdoor speeches – it brings a laid-back, relaxed vibe to the occasion. Sarah and Andy chose to spread the speeches throughout the afternoon, allowing everyone to enjoy each moment without feeling rushed. After dinner, guests were treated to a cocktail hour, where they sipped on Picantes and Pornstar Martinis while indulging in mini desserts catered by Lettice Catering. It was the perfect way to transition from dinner to the evening’s festivities. Before the night truly kicked off, Sarah and her dad shared a dance in the courtyard before Sarah made a quick change into the most fabulous mini dress, ready to hit the dance floor and celebrate with all their loved ones! Lastly I couldn’t not mention my fellow industry fave video guy Will Wood Productions, always such a pleasure to capture a day with you!

Personal Highlight:

The evening setup was a real showstopper! Disco balls and palm leaves hanging from the ceiling, Tux Fizz keeping the dance floor packed, and syringe shots adding to the fun!
