What a way to end my wedding season at The Barns at Redcoats! Shooting Cheyenne and Kurt’s wedding was the perfect send-off to a venue we’ve had the pleasure of working at six times this year. Every wedding at The Barns has its own charm, but this one truly felt like the cherry on top!
Cheyenne was an absolute vision in her Stephanie Allin dress, topped with a stunning Petal and Pearl Accessories tiara (seriously, more brides need to rock a tiara!), and she added her own unique flair with custom Converse trainers and socks she knitted herself. Her bridesmaids looked equally dazzling in gold La Closet de Chanel dresses—so bold and perfect for the season. One of the most moving moments was Cheyenne walking herself up the aisle; there’s something so powerful about that, and it was a privilege to capture.
Sugar Blossom Cakes created a show-stopping wedding cake that was the perfect centerpiece, but the macaron tower stole its fair share of the spotlight. A rainbow of delicate, delicious macarons topped with the cutest cactus husband and wife you’ll ever see! When The Blue Rinse band hit the stage, the party officially kicked into high gear, they had everyone on their feet, and the dance floor stayed packed all night.
It’s been an incredible season shooting so many weddings at this amazing venue, and I couldn’t have asked for a better finale than this beautiful day with Cheyenne and Kurt!
Personal Highlight:
Usually suppliers go off and have some food whilst the couple and guests eat but Chey & Kurt insisted on us joining the meal. I got to sit and enjoy a meal with fellow supplier friends Roxy Searle music and Adam from Creative Spark films.
