ST JOHNS HOUSE WARWICK
The little shindig strikes again and they never disappoint. A mid week wedding with a total of 12 people (including the couple and their boys), small but still so mighty.
Anna got ready at The Warwickshire Hotel just 5mins down the road from where they had their legal ceremony. This gorgeous bride didn’t have a glam squad, just a good friend, one of her boys and lovely parents in the room next door. Anna did invest in a make up tutorial though that was prior to the wedding with Make Up by Elisha, a smart choice I think as beyond your wedding day you can recreate your gorgeous look time after time. Anna wore a beautiful gown by Serendipity Brides and had adjustments done by the crazy talented Annie, to ensure Anna had that ‘fit like a glove’ look for her dress.
Once everybody was ready we headed into Warwick, where St John’s House became the back drop for their ceremony. Anna walked in clutching her beautiful bouquet by Green and Wild Flowers all ready dried, so another thing that will last a lifetime.
After the ceremony we used the stunning gardens and back drop of the house for photos, after which we headed across to the park for snacks, drinks and a few more pics. As it was a little shindig I headed off just before they all departed and went for a lovely meal together.
Anna & Matt are two incredibly kind people, I don’t think in life they get chance to relish in much that is ‘about them’, with busy lives, their boys and family, its go go go. It was so nice to be a part of a day where they could celebrate their love for one another and have their family witness their day. Thanks for having me guys, it was a total pleasure.
Personal Highlight:
It wasn’t a particular moment, it was something Anna saidbviously I left before they headed off for their meal and when I said goodbye Anna said to me, ‘I am going to miss you when you’re gone, I have just loved having you here, you are like a friend’.
