Katie & Jordan

The White Hart, Amphtill

Some wedding mornings begin quietly. Others begin with a golden retriever greeting you at the door like you’re the guest of honour. Rocky, Katie’s four-legged concierge, made sure I received the warmest welcome as I arrived at her home to start the day. The glam squad was in full swing when I arrived. I had the absolute pleasure of working with the incredible Chloe Eleanor MUA, a true GOAT in the world of bridal makeup, and the lovely Polly on hair duties. The vibes were relaxed and full of laughter (just how we like it!). From the start, I knew Katie wouldn’t go the traditional route with her dress and it was everything and more! A showstopper covered in hand-painted roses from House of Savin, it was unlike anything I’ve ever seen and suited her perfectly! Elegant, romantic, and totally her! Katie’s bridesmaids all wore their own individual pastel dresses, which looked absolutely dreamy together—especially paired with the most colourful, joyful flowers by Floral Roots.

Before we knew it, we were off, hopping aboard the mini bus to head to St Albans for the ceremony. The ceremony was sweet, intimate, and full of love. And then we hopped onto a big red vintage bus for the ride back to Ampthill! I swear, it's true what they say about buses…none for ages, then they all come along at once. Myself and Binky have somehow had three vintage bus weddings in just four weeks, and honestly? We're not mad about it! The journey back was full of fun, tinnies and crispies were passed around, and guests got hilariously competitive over a quiz. Great vibes all round.

Arriving at The White Hart in Ampthill, we were blown away. The place had been totally transformed by The White Emporium, think pom-poms, streamers, disco balls, and bright, happy colours everywhere. It was an explosion of joy and totally reflected Katie and Jordan’s personalities. I don’t think I’ve ever seen The White Hart look quite so magical. The rest of the afternoon was pure celebration, drinks flowing in the beer garden, delicious food, and the brilliant Cara Beard creating the ultimate soundtrack through the afternoon. As the sun set, DJ Mike and Dom Plays Sax took over for the evening party and let’s just say... these two know how to get a dancefloor going!

Personal Highlight:

Every couple puts thought into their wedding day, but Katie and Jordan took it to another level, not a single detail was left to chance. You could see the care and creativity, especially in the personalised touches, right down to their one-of-a-kind dinner plates.

“We had the best day ever and we’re so lucky to have you there to bring the good vibes, everyone said how amazing you are. ”
